A visual tool to help children understand OCD.
I made this for a friend whose daughter has OCD. She was struggling with the graphics her I-CBT therapist provided.
I asked her what OCD felt like to her. She told me she saw it as a fox that lived in her mind — something separate from herself.
So I took her vision and worked with a licensed therapist (Megan Rigdon, LCSW) to build graphics and worksheets that felt more true to her experience.
What's included:
- The OCD Sequence
- Trigger Graphics & Worksheet
- Doubt Graphic & Worksheet
- Trusting Your Senses Graphic & Story
- Obsessional Story
- Vulnerable self Worksheet
- True self Worksheet
- OCD Doubt is Imaginary Graphic
This is not meant to replace therapy — just a visual tool.
